User Name: Collected through the welcome page.
Email Address: Collected through any inquiries, contact submissions, or the welcome page as part of the project onboarding process for the Planet2050 Platform, and processed solely for the purposes of project and project developer evaluation, preliminary due diligence, partnership suitability assessment, and facilitation of engagement within Planet2050’s carbon project development and financing pipeline.
Project Information: All data and materials submitted through the onboarding form — including but not limited to Organization Name, Year Established, Country of Registration, Project Name, Project Website, Project Category, Project Method, Other Project Method, Project Description, Problem, Solution, Project Country, Project City, Value Chains, Project Stage, Organization Role, Carbon Standard, Project ID, Methodology, Carbon consultant, Project duration, Project Credit First Issuance, Total Forecasted Credits, Digital MRV, Revenue sources, Revenue sources details, Investment amount, Financing type, Project finance partners, Presentation, Documentation, Additional material, Additional URL link, Your interest, Advisory request, Experience, Additional comments, Contact Person Name, Contact Role, Contact Email, Contact Location, Data Privacy, Accuracy, and Receive newsletter as well as any supplemental or associated information voluntarily submitted in connection with the onboarding process or subsequent communications — shall be collectively referred to as "Project Information".
File Uploads: Documents and files you upload as part of the onboarding process.
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
To initiate, facilitate and manage your project onboarding process and application, like send you an email invitation to start the onboarding process, etc.
To store and process the information you provide in the onboarding form and uploaded files.
To assess eligibility, technical soundness, and investment readiness in line with Planet2050’s carbon financing eligibility and evalution criteria.
To conduct internal screening, due diligence, and alignment with applicable carbon standards and methodologies.
To communicate with you regarding your application status, project details, next steps or supplemental information / assessment(s).
To share data, under confidentiality, with relevant partners or advisors involved in project evaluation and structuring.
Your project onboarding data is stored in the following ways:
Local Storage: While you are actively using the Application, some of your form data is saved locally in your browser's local storage using an API key from the URL. This is to allow you to resume your application if you close and reopen the browser. This data is removed from local storage upon successful submission of the form.
Remote Storage: Upon submission or progression through certain steps, your data may be uploaded to third-party services:
Airtable: Project information from the form is stored in our Airtable database.
Vercel Blob: Uploaded files are stored using Vercel Blob storage.
Google Drive: Uploaded files and project details could be stored on Google Drive for the shared team access.
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure.
We utilize the following third-party services:
Airtable: For storing structured project data. You can review Airtable's privacy policy here.
Vercel Blob: For storing uploaded files. You can review Vercel's privacy policy here.
Email Service: For sending onboarding invitation emails, we use Brevo. You can review their privacy policy here
Google Workspace: For storing Project Information Google Drive could be used. For processing Project Information by our team in a collaborative way we may use Google Docs. You can review their privacy policy here
We only share the necessary information with these third-party services to provide the functionality of the Application.
You have the following rights regarding your personal information:
Access: You can request access to the personal information we hold about you.
Modification: You can modify your information through the onboarding form before your application is submitted. Once submitted, you will need to contact us to make changes or submit a new form with updated information.
Deletion: Upon successful submission, your data is removed from local storage. If you wish for your data to be removed from our remote storage (Airtable, Vercel Blob, Google Drive), please contact us using the information below.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
